Johnny Cash is immortalized on the walls of this local hangout, where drink prices range from $2-$5 all day every day. Rockabilly meets downtown Philly with Sue’s all-wood décor and affinity for barrel whiskey. A Bar Named Sue is a brilliant place for Happy Hours, group gatherings and a general night out. Miss Pacman, Shuffle Bowl, a jukebox stuffed with great Rockabilly tunes, an arm-wrestling table and a host of other games keep the customers entertained. Martini’s and cosmos are replaced with a good-old fashioned shots and beers. If you want a place where you can hang out and be yourself without having to primp every five seconds for the crowd, this is where you want to be. Sue is open Tuesday thru Sat. 5pm-2am.
